Equipment

  • 1 5×7 baking dish

Ingredients
  

  • 4 lasagna noodles
  • cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 1.5 oz Italian sausage
  • 1.5 oz ground beef

Tomato Sauce

  • 6 roma tomatoes scored
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ¼ yellow onion diced
  • ¼ cup basil
  • 2 sprigs fresh oregano
  • ½ tbsp Pretty Girls Eat Too All Purpose Seasoning
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp salt

Ricotta Mixture

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil
  • 1 garlic clove grated
  • ½ small shallot diced
  • ½ tbsp Pretty Girls Eat Too All Purpose Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Boil lasagna noodles until al dente – about 7 minutes
  • To a skillet on medium-high heat, brown sausage and ground beef. Season with All Purpose Seasoning to taste. Set to the side.
  • Pour tomato sauce into skillet and combine.
  • To your baking dish layer, sauce, pasta, ricotta, sauce, and cheese. Repeat until the baking dish is full. Top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 350℉ or until top is golden and bubbly. Allow to cool and serve.

Tomato Sauce

  • To a medium saucepan, sauté onion until transclucent. Follow with garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add in tomatoes, salt, basil, and cover for 10 minutes or until softened.
  • Remove the lid, add in oregano and stir. Blend until smooth

Ricotta Mixture

  • To a bowl, combine all ingredients.
