This dish is typically cooked in a skillet or small cast iron pan and seasoned with sautéed ingredients like onions, garlic, and roasted poblano peppers, though variations might include chorizo, mushrooms, or other ingredients.

When served, queso fundido is enjoyed with warm tortillas or tortilla chips for dipping, and it’s especially popular at gatherings where people can share and enjoy its creamy, gooey texture. It’s also served as a topping for tacos, nachos, or as a side dish to complement a meal.

The creamy, stretchy texture and the combination of rich, melty cheese make queso fundido a crowd-pleaser, offering a comforting and indulgent experience!
