Peach Crisp

Golden, bubbling, and kissed with cinnamon, this peach crisp is summer comfort in a dish. Juicy peaches bake down into a sweet, syrupy filling, while a buttery crumble topping turns crisp and golden in the oven. It’s the kind of dessert that feels both rustic and celebratory — easy enough for a weeknight treat, yet special enough to share with friends on a warm evening. Whether served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or enjoyed cold the next morning (we won’t tell), this peach crisp is pure seasonal bliss. How To Make Peach Crisp
- To make a single-serving peach crisp, start by slicing up one ripe peach—no need to peel it unless you want to. Toss the slices with a little sugar, a squeeze of lemon juice, a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a tiny bit of cornstarch to help thicken the juices. Spoon the mixture into a small ramekin or oven-safe dish.
- For the topping, mix together a spoonful or two of flour, a touch of brown sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon and salt. Cut in a small chunk of cold butter until it forms a crumbly texture, then sprinkle it over the peaches.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F until the topping is golden and the peach filling is bubbling—about 25-30 minutes. Let it cool slightly, then dig in while it’s warm. A scoop of vanilla ice cream on top makes it extra cozy.
