Ham and Cheese Hot Pocket
As we all know, a ham and cheese Hot Pocket is a portable, baked pastry filled with ham, melted cheese, and a savory sauce, all encased in a golden, flaky crust. To make them at home, it’s relatively easy. Begin by rolling out a sheet of puff pastry and cutting it into rectangles. Layer each with slices of deli ham, a generous amount of shredded cheese, and a touch of mustard or mayonnaise for added flavor. Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges tightly with a fork to create a pocket. After brushing the top with an egg wash for a golden finish, bake in a preheated oven until the pastry is puffed and crispy. The result is a warm, savory snack with a perfectly flaky crust and a gooey, flavorful ham and cheese center. If you like this recipe, try my Chicken Empanadas (Columbian Style)+ Video recipe next!
