Ham and Cheese Hot Pocket
A Ham and Cheese Hot Pocket is a portable, baked pastry filled with ham, melted cheese, and a savory sauce, all encased in a golden, flaky crust.

- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 9 oz smoked deli ham thinly sliced and ripped into small pieces
- 12 slices medium cheddar cheese
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 1 tsp roasted garlic paste
- 2 tbsp parsley chopped
Roll out a sheet of puff pastry and cut into 3 inch pieces. You should be able to get three pieces per each sheet of puff pastry
Place one slice of cheddar on onto each piece of puff pastry. Leave enough room on the sides to close and crimp the pocket.
Place ham on top, followed by another slice of cheddar.
Place another piece of puff pastry over the filling and crimp closed with a fork.
Brush lightly with egg wash.
Bake at 400℉ for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
Remove from oven and brush with garlic butter. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container and freeze.
