Hawaiian Macaroni Salad
Hawaiian macaroni salad is bright with a variety of onion, and vinegar and mayo base. This side compliments the grilled meats typically served with Hawaiian dishes to perfection.




Hawaiian Macaroni Salad
Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ⅕ cup shredded carrot
- ¼ white onion grated
- 2 green onions thinly sliced, white and green part
- 3 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp white pepper
- ½ tbsp garlic based all purpose seasoning
- 2 tbsp curly parsley minced
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- To a pot of boiling water, add in salt and boil noodles until al dente. This should take 7-8 minutes. Strain noodles and run under cool water to stop the cooking.
- To a bowl, add in mayonnaise, , apple cider vinegar, white pepper, and garlic based all purpose seasoning. Whisk until smooth.
- Add in cooled macaroni, carrots, green onion, white onion, and parsley. Stir to combine. Refrigerate for 20 minutes and serve.
