Shrimp BLT Sandwich

Seafood and bacon blend so well together with one another on this delicious shrimp BLT sandwich, you’ll be looking to make this for lunch more than once. If you’re feeling for something that’s not as heavy as a burger, but still filling, this is THE sandwich for you.


Shrimp BLT
Ingredients
- 2 Brioche Buns
- 6 bacon strips
- 1 lb colossal shrimp peeled, deveined, and cleaned
- 1 scallion thinly sliced
- Lettuce for topping the sandwich
- Tomato slices for topping the sandwich
- 1/4 cup horseradish sauce
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 Garlic cloves grated
Instructions
- Chop shrimp until almost a paste forms. Add in scallion, garlic, and seasonings. Form into two patties and set in the freezer for 10 minutes to set.
- Cook your bacon to your desired crispness and remove from pan. Set aside.
- In the same pan with the bacon grease, add in shrimp patties and thoroughly cook.
- In a separate bowl, add in horseradish sauce, lime zest, and chili powder. Stir to combine and set aside.
- Toast buns and assemble your sandwich. Enjoy!
