Why you’ll love this Cheeseburger Macaroni recipe
As a child with working parents, a lot of us grew up on quick meals or even boxed meals. This recipe replicates that, except its made with fresh ingredients and you can choose to “help” this hamburger all you want. Interchange the beef for ground turkey or chicken. Use different kind of pasta noodles if you like. Add three cheeses if you choose to. The world is yours!

Cheeseburger Macaroni
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb elbow macaroni noodles
- 1½ cup half and half
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 white onion finely diced
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 4 tbsp all purpose seasoning
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1½ cup sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet on medium-high heat. Break up the beef into bite size pieces. Once browned, season with half of all purpose seasoning and black pepper
- Add in finely diced onion and sauté for 2 minutes or until translucent. Add in tomato paste and sauté until a dark burgundy color, about 1-2 minutes.
- Lower heat to medium and add in elbow noodles, half and half, water, beef bouillon cube, and remaining seasonings. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Make sure that there is still a bit more remaining liquid in the pot before you add your cheese. If there is no more liquid in the pot at this time, add in 1/4 cup more half and half, then add in cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted, and season more to taste if needed. Serve immediately.
