Chili
Chili is absolute comfort food, whether its cold outside or not. From the hearty beef, to the beans, and toppings, you’ll be comforted. This dish is customizable, it doesn’t matter what you put in it, as long as the cooking process is the same. There’s also green chili, chicken chili, and even vegan chili. They’re all delicious, and most of all, COMFORTING.


Beef Chili

- 1 dutch oven
Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 cans black beans
- 3 cans chili beans
- 1 can tomato paste
- 3 dried chilis
- 2 tbsp tomato and beef bouillon
- Pretty Girls Eat Too All Purpose Seasoning
- 3 tbsp Worsteshire sauce
- 3 tbsp Chili powder
- 3 tbsp oregano
- 3 tbsp smoked paprika
- Scallion for garnish
Instructions
- Brown ground beef over medium-high heat.
- Add in tomato paste and chilis and cook until tomato paste has turned burgundy.
- Follow with onions and garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes or until translucent.
- Lower heat to medium-low and add in beans, water, and bouillon. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add in spices and stir. Lower heat once more and allow to simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve with rice or cornbread and top with cheese and scallion.
