  • 1 dutch oven


  • 8 cups water
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 cans black beans
  • 3 cans chili beans
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 3 dried chilis
  • 2 tbsp tomato and beef bouillon
  • Pretty Girls Eat Too All Purpose Seasoning
  • 3 tbsp Worsteshire sauce
  • 3 tbsp Chili powder
  • 3 tbsp oregano
  • 3 tbsp smoked paprika
  • Scallion for garnish


  • Brown ground beef over medium-high heat.
  • Add in tomato paste and chilis and cook until tomato paste has turned burgundy.
  • Follow with onions and garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes or until translucent.
  • Lower heat to medium-low and add in beans, water, and bouillon. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add in spices and stir. Lower heat once more and allow to simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Serve with rice or cornbread and top with cheese and scallion.
