Mongolian Beef Noodles
Equipment
- 1 Stock pot
- 1 Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 Package Chow Mein noodle
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced
- 3 scallion thinly sliced
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
Seasoning Mix
- 1 tbsp Chinese five spice
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- chili oil to taste
Instructions
- In a stock pot of boiling salted water, cook chow mien according to package
- In a skillet on medium-high heat, cook ground beef thoroughly. Add in yellow onion, half of the green onion, and seasoning mix. Once sugar is dissolved, add in soy and oyster sauce. Mix well
- Transfer noodles from pot to skillet and turn off heat
- Add chili oil if using and top with sesame seeds and remaining green onion
