Ingredients

Steak

  • 1 Bagel sized piece of rib eye
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp steak seasoning
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Breakfast Sauce

  • ¼ cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp W Sauce
  • 1 pinch parsley
  • 1 tbsp salt and pepper

Caramelized Onions

  • ¼ yellow onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp W Sauce
  • 1 pinch of salt

Assembly

  • 1 egg
  • 1 bagel of your choice
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese

Instructions

Caramelized Onions

  • To a skillet on medium-high heat, add in 1 tbsp of oil and onions. Salt onions and allow for onions to become translucent, stirring frequently.
  • Add W Sauce and cook until onions are caramelized. This should take about 10 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.

Steak

  • Season steak with garlic powder, steak seasoning, and all purpose seasoning. Press seasoning into steak.
  • To the same skillet the onions were cooked in, add 2 tbsp of oil and place steaks in pan. Cook according to your desired doneness, adding butter to the pan once steak is flipped.
  • Baste steaks. Remove from pan and set aside.

Egg

  • To a small skillet on medium heat, add in 1 tsp of oil.
  • Add in scrambled egg, tilting the pan to ensure the egg covers the bottom of the pan.
  • Once egg is firm on bottom, fold egg in half, and repeat once more, making a square shaped egg. Remove from pan and set aside

Sauce

  • Add all ingredients into a bowl and stir to combine well.

Assembly

  • Toast bagel in skillet, then add cheese to both sides of bagel. Add 1tsp of water into pan and cover for 20 seconds.
  • Assemble sandwich and serve immediately.
