Steak Tacos with Strawberry Salsa

Ingredients
  

  • ½ lb chopped angus usually labeled picada
  • ½ tbsp cumin
  • ½ tbsp chili powder
  • ½ tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp adobo

Strawberry Salsa

  • 4 strawberries finely diced
  • 1 roma tomato finely diced
  • ¼ white onion finely diced
  • cup cilantro minced
  • 5 mint leaves chopped
  • juice of 3 limes
  • 1 tsp salt

Assembly

  • 6 tortillas grilled
  • queso fresco crumbled

Instructions
 

  • To a bowl, season your beef with adobo, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
  • Heat a skillet to medium high heat, and sear your beef until fully cooked. This should take about 7 minutes.
  • While your beef is cooking, add in strawberry, tomato, cilantro, mint, lime juice, and salt to a bowl. Mix ingredients well.
  • Remove beef from the skillet and heat up tortillas in the remaining beef fat in the pan.
  • Assemble tacos with beef, salsa, and queso fresco immediately. Enjoy.
