- ½ lb chopped angus usually labeled picada
- ½ tbsp cumin
- ½ tbsp chili powder
- ½ tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp adobo
Strawberry Salsa
- 4 strawberries finely diced
- 1 roma tomato finely diced
- ¼ white onion finely diced
- ⅛ cup cilantro minced
- 5 mint leaves chopped
- juice of 3 limes
- 1 tsp salt
Assembly
- 6 tortillas grilled
- queso fresco crumbled
To a bowl, season your beef with adobo, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
Heat a skillet to medium high heat, and sear your beef until fully cooked. This should take about 7 minutes.
While your beef is cooking, add in strawberry, tomato, cilantro, mint, lime juice, and salt to a bowl. Mix ingredients well.
Remove beef from the skillet and heat up tortillas in the remaining beef fat in the pan.
Assemble tacos with beef, salsa, and queso fresco immediately. Enjoy.
