Cuisine American
- 1 lb Ground chicken
- 5 tbsp all purpose seasoning
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- frying oil
Assembly
- brioche buns
- shredded lettuce
- mayonnaise
To a bowl, season ground chicken with all purpose seasoning, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix to combine. Form into three patties and lay flat on a baking sheet. Freeze for a minimum of 30 minutes
To a seperate bowl, season flour with remaining spices. Divide flour mixture into two seperate bowls. Add baking powder into one bowl of flour, along with about ¼ cup of water, to make the consistency of a wet batter.
Preheat your oil to about 350℉. Dredge chicken patties into the flour, then into the wet batter, and finally into the hot oil. Allow to thoroughly cook through, flipping halfway through the cooking process. Remove from oil once the internal temperature reaches 165℉
Assemble your sandwiches by putting mayo on both top and bottom buns. The lettuce should go on top of the chicken patty. Serve immediately and enjoy.
