This sweet, juicy, bourbon chicken is perfect for meal prep or a quick dinner. Full of flavor, this dish can be eaten with noodles, rice, or even just veggies if you're looking to watch your carb intake
To a bowl, season chicken with five spice, all purpose seasoning, and smoked paprika. Combine so all chicken is evenly coated in seasoning. Set aside.
To a separate bowl, combine garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes, Whisk to combine.
To a skillet on medium-high heat, add in grapeseed oil and sear chicken until golden brown on each side. Remove from pan and lower heat to medium.
Add sauce to skillet and allow to reduce by half. Stirring occasionally. This should take about 2 minutes.
Add chicken back to skillet and stir to coat chicken in sauce. Cook for 2 more minutes, adding in green onions. Remove from heat and top with sesame seeds before serving.
